Individual Nutrition Counseling Sessions
Initial Assessment: 90 minutes. A comprehensive nutrition evaluation that considers your previous care, current behaviors, and recovery goals. Medical testing may be required, such as bloodwork, vital signs, EKG, and/or DEXA scan; to be obtained with your general physician. In-person only; telehealth only accommodated with referral from your therapist/physician.
Follow-Up Session: 30 or 50 minutes. Weekly sessions to support realistic, consistent, sustainable progress toward your nutrition goals.
Family Nutrition Counseling Sessions
Adolescents (12-20 years of age): 50 or 75 minutes. Weekly sessions to address nutrition stability, appropriate growth, and family support. Individual time within each session for parents and child as is supportive.
Parent Education/Sessions: Time/scheduling adaptable to meet your needs. Understand the latest research and treatment approaches to better support your child, or explore your own relationship with food and body in parallel with your child's care. Nutrition counseling for Family-Based Treatment (FBT) available as well.
Please inquire for pricing. Superbills are provided upon request with the receipt of a physician’s nutrition referral. If you are unable to find an in-network specialist for your nutrition care, Samantha is able to support you in requesting a single case agreement to cover her services.

Make a Referral
If your client needs a dietitian that supports work with the following concerns/approaches, please consider a referral to Samantha for their nutrition care:
longstanding eating disorders (previously SEED), chemical dependency, anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, complex trauma, suicidality, self-harm behaviors, history of institutionalization,
and/or needs a harm reduction, stabilization, or hospice approach to their recovery
Coverage for Nutrition Services
If you are or have a dietitian that will be unable to provide care for clients short-term due to parental/family leave, leave of absence, sabbatical, extended vacation, or illness, Samantha offers coverage services tailored to your needs. In-office in Orange County or by telehealth. Dietitians, treatment programs, and group facilitators welcome to inquire. Therapists welcome to inquire as well for clients that would benefit from nutrition support during a therapeutic break.
CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) Consultation
Supervision for individuals pursuing CEDS certification through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp). Requires monthly meetings for a period of 2-3 years minimum. Special emphasis on health equity, provider burnout, harm reduction, and co-occurring disorders.
Business & Insurance Consultation is available as an add-on service for CEDS supervisees only.
Pricing:
1-hour Individual (one-on-one) meeting: $150
1-hour Individual (two attendees) meeting: $100 per attendee
90-minute Group (three or more attendees) meeting: $80 per attendee

Eating Disorder Specialist Collaborative Care
Disordered eating frequently impacts those with mood instability and chemical dependency. If your program would benefit from an adjunct eating disorder-informed lens, Samantha provides individual, group, and staff education services for behavioral health treatment teams. In-house for local treatment programs.
